is a women organization founded in 2021, Working to improve the situation of women and children in Tanzania, we are based in Iringa
We the Arise and Rejoice Assisting Hands Organization– ARISE TANZANIA, a non-profit, non-partisan, women's organization, based in Iringa, registered as a Non-Governmental Organization under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act, No. 24 of 2002 as amended from time to time.
We have a mandate to Promote the living standard of the Orphanage group and vulnerable children, to Advocate for women and children's legal rights and related matters in particular with education on their rights. to Raise awareness on health-related services and HIV/AIDS, and other transmitted diseases that spread and affect the welfare of the society And Empower the Community with commercial and economic training, aims to create self-employment for youth and women at large: We implement our mandate with activities in four thematic areas that are:
- Women's Economic Empowerment and Promotion of Gender Equality
- Educational support and Youths' Employability Skills. training
- Women's Rights Defending, and provision of legal aid to marginalized women.
- Health, and Water Sanitation and Hygiene -WASH
- Climate change and adaptations
